Our staff of Speech-Language Pathologists are professionals trained in the study of human communication, its normal development and its disorders, with focus training in dysphagia (swallowing problems).They have had experience with language acquisition, apraxia, phonological and articulation disorders, as well as Augmentative Communication, Autism, and Down Syndrome to name a few. Each Professional staff member holds her Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Ohio License as well as holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency by The American Speech Language Hearing Association.

NEW FOR 2024: APPLICATION PROCESS:
We will be accepting applications for our programs to assure we are putting together effective groups to maximize each participant’s treatment goals and experience.
We need to have copies of the most recent assessment or IEP that you have to assist our decision and effective placement in a group!

This group features 2 levels designed to address your child’s specific level of speech sound mastery within a small group setting for social interactions.
Level 1 This group is designed for younger children who are learning to use their correct motor speech sounds at the word, phrase and sentence level.
Level 2 This group is designed for children who need practice of consistent mastery and generalizing their sounds in day-to-day conversation.Swipe For Group Offerings: LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT GROUPS
Level 1
Children participate in a themed based pre-K routine with small group language center rotations, art, music/movement and play to facilitate communication and peer interactions tailored to establish speech/language goals.
Level 2
Children will participate in school-based school routines with hands on learning experiences, structured language and play activities. All activities promote social skill interactions, group participation, cognitive skills and peer interactions tailored to establish speech/language goals!Swipe For Group Offerings: SOCIAL SKILLS/FUNCTIONAL INTERACTION GROUP
The group will target social interaction skills and provide the opportunity for real-life, functional practice of social, conversational, and non-verbal skills. There is opportunity for use of devices in a functional interactive way should a child have a device.
*Please note, minimum age for participation is Age 3.*
All of our groups offer modeling and support from a licensed therapist to help your child reach established goals! Every group participant will get support from peers to build confidence through enriched language models and newfound friendships!
The group environment offers the opportunity for your child to teach and learn from others!
Each group will have 3 Speech Language Pathologist and 3 Trained Assistants(College Speech Students) for a 2:1 ratio!
There will be 12-14 children will be enrolled in each group! Class placement will be determined by the order they are received and your stated preference.We will group students together to optimize their experience!All activities are language based and promote communication interaction amongst the children. All activities will involve language concepts of vocabulary development, social skills, requesting, answering questions and developmental language skills.There will be daily/weekly themes, along with carryover home activities. Activities will involve circle time, gross motor activities, arts/crafts, music, free play and snack for the 2 hour groups.Parents are encouraged to ask any questions of the staff throughout our program. We will use the seesaw classroom app to update and communicate with parents throughout the program.

We service many areas in Central Ohio; including Marysville, Sunbury, Delaware, Westerville, New Albany, Lewis Center and Powell. We contract with Memorial Hospital of Union County who accepts all patient funding sources. We have contracts with schools districts, Boards of Developmental Delays in Franklin, and Delaware County, as well as several home health agencies who bill medicaid insurance for our clients.
